seasons, India Beach Fashion Week has showcased over 100 designers in both fresh &
established categories with the prominent names like Wendell Rodricks, Falguni & Shane
Peacock, James Ferreira, Rock S, Priya Kataria Puri, Manoviraj Khosla, Mayur Girotra, Asmita Marwah, Anupama Dayal, Nachiket Bharve, Rakesh Agarwal, Urvashi Kaur, Dev R Nil, KenFerns, Babita Malkani among others.
Soucika by Kamal Raj Manickath showcased the collection ‘Head Full of Dreams’, on
Day 2 of the India Beach Fashion Week.

Collection Description
                                                   Head Full of Dreams
Any living soul is obliged to own the liberty of spreading happiness, infinite happiness. In
India, we custom the festival Holi just to persuade the act of extending joy. Hand full of colors are strewn at each other to strip off the evil for the revelation of divine happiness hidden within and thereby forgiving one another with just the existence of love. One form of art which holds this as a cause is doodling. Doodle art originated as a Black and white portrait with miniature detailing which later allowed people to color the portrait the way they wish in infinite possible way, making them the creator! The same relates to happiness.
Our collection ‘Head full of dreams’, is about transforming a dream to a reality of spreadinghappiness among people like diffusing color smoke into air.
The collection ‘Head full of dreams’ is an enigma that could be fathomed in a countless aspectby the viewing individual. This collection is provoked from a divine mind Kamal Raj Manickath anticipating an inevitable world full of colors.

The collection holds 4 lehengas and 8 evening gowns presented in fabrics like lace, tulle, lasercutfabrics, chiffon and georgette with a palette purely obtained from the festival Holi. Thecollection is a specimen of colorful doodle art with fractal detailing in a wide color combo.

 

 

 

 

Amit Pandya has worn our outfits for couple of events and we have always loved the way he flaunts our outfit. Thereby Soucika wanted to make Amit as our showstopper for India Beach Fashion Week and he truly set the ramp on fire with a wonderful show!

The only three leg workout routines you need to know to get those sexy legs!

February is almost here. The month of Love as they call it brings more than just red roses to you. It brings the season of Spring, pleasant air to breathe and lot of sunshine. Spring breakers at this time plan beach parties, pool parties, lunches and brunches and fashion brands showcase their Spring/Summer collection and women get ready to flaunt some skin as they work out before investing in the new designer collections.

So as you prepare to wear the slits, minis, and mirco minis, we decided to help you a bit in getting those perfect legs without having to go through much. These tried and tested workout routines can be done at home without you having to lift anything.

1. Basic squat and kicks – This particular exercise does not only workout your lower body but it also is a full body workout. 4 sets of 15 repetitions will do wonders for you. Start with keeping your body straight, your stomach sucked in and tight, end in squat position, rise up and kick your leg sideways up till your hip level, return to basics afterwards and do the same thing with the other leg.

2. Plie heel raise – You may not be a ballerina, trust us, you do not have to be but you still can do this exercise using a chair at home. If you do this exercise strictly without taking break then 4 sets of 10 repetition each will leave you gasping for breath. What you got to do is – Get on your toes while keeping your feet wide apart, start lowering down into a plie squat position keeping your heel up and toes firm on the ground. Keep your arms extended and do not rest your heels on the ground. Take support using a chair if you are unable to balance yourself. Breath in and out while doing this. You will see this difference in your legs and derriere (must we say) in no time.

3. Squat and jump – Another intense workout routine which helps the entire body burn fat. Start from the basic squat position, bend down then throw yourself up reaching for the ceiling, land safely on your toe bending your knee like a spring. Do this for 30 to 40 seconds without giving break to see best results.
